These terms cover the SanctionTrail preview website, including the free demo screening and the early-access list, operated by Thump LLC. By using the site you agree to them.
The demo is not a compliance record
The free screening is a preview. It is not saved, not logged and not evidence of a screening. Results depend on the government list data available at the time and on the matching method used, and may be incomplete or delayed. A result of “No match found” is not a clearance, approval or determination of any kind.
Not legal advice
SanctionTrail assists screening and record-keeping. It does not make compliance, licensing or classification determinations and is not legal advice. You remain responsible for your compliance with the Export Administration Regulations, OFAC regulations and all other applicable law.
Founding-price reservations
Reserving the founding price creates no obligation to buy and no charge. If you subscribe to the Starter plan at launch, the founding price applies for as long as that subscription stays active. We may change the product, its launch date or its plans before launch; if we don't launch, the reservation simply ends.
Acceptable use
Don't automate, scrape or overload the demo, or use it to get around its limits. We may block use that does.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The site and demo are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Thump LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of the preview site or demo.
